Current and emergency repairs

Metal Technology Group Ltd. is specialized in maintenance and current servicing of metal cutting machines. 12 highly qualified specialists (6 mechanics, 3 electricians and 3 electronics specialists) provide complete electric and mechanical support for over 300 metal cutting machines in Central and North Bulgaria. The maintenance includes carrying out of emergency repairs, planned precautionary inspections (PPI) and planned precautionary repairs (PPR).

The company performs complete repairs of metal cutting machines.

Modernization of MCM (Retrofitting)

This an important activity of MTG Ltd. as a great deal of the companies operating on the Bulgarian market use old and outworn machines which are bound to be modernized.
Metal cutting machines retrofitted at MTG Ltd. have an integrated new DPC system (ЕТА 17, Heidenhain, Siemens – at customer’s desire), new cable wiring with replaced operation and regulation modules all set for long technological life.
Design, installation and setting up of automation and control systems – the company designs customer’s desire automation and control systems:

Metal Technology Group Ltd. incorporates a Professional Training Center (PTC) which is licensed by NAVET (National Agency for Vocational Education and Training) – license No. 200712435. A team of highly qualified lecturers together with the up-to-date technologies combine practical and theoretical education as well as training on the work place.

The Professional Training Center in MTG Ltd. offers vocational qualification and training in the following specialties and professions:

• Profession “Locksmith” – specialty “Locksmith’s trade”
• Profession “Founder” – specialty “Founding”

Courses for adoption of second qualification degree:

• Profession “Fitter for hoisting machines” – specialty “Electro-mobile hoisting machines”

Courses for adoption of third qualification degree:

After successfully passing theoretical and practice exam the trainees are granted legitimate Certificates in Professional Qualification in the relevant degree. The samples for the certificates are approved by MES (Ministry of Education and Science).

After successfully passing theoretical and practice exam the trainees in the professional course “Welder” are granted a legitimate Certificate in Professional Qualification “Welding”. The sample for the certificate is approved by MES.

After successfully passing theoretical and practice exam the trainees in the professional course “Fitter for hoisting machines” are granted a legitimate Certificate in Professional Qualification “Machine-operator for gantry and overhead cranes”. The sample for the certificate is approved by MES.

Training in topical programs – preparation, organizing and conducting training courses related to the requirements of the international standards and specifications, Graphic design – 3-D design (Unigraphics) etc.

Trainings, presentations and similar activities conducted in cooperation with other companies - MTG’s Professional training center organizes and conducts training courses as well as presenting the products of Sandvik Coromant.
